Although your central heating system might seem to be working normally, iron oxide deposits may have built up as a result of corrosion. This can cause a loss in efficiency, sludge build-up and cold spots in your radiators. MagnaClean is a powerful magnetic filter that captures iron oxide particles, resulting in a warmer home, increased efficiency and longevity of your system.

 

Fitting a MagnaClean will help protect your boiler, radiators and system from iron oxide build-up, enabling your system to run more efficiently.

 

Your Alliance gas engineer will drain your system and install a MagnaClean unit to a section of pipe near your boiler or in your airing cupboard. The entire process should take approximately 2 hours.
You won’t need to move any furniture or carpets as the Alliance gas engineer only needs access to your boiler or airing cupboard.
MagnaClean is not a substitute for a PowerFlush. Should your Alliance Gas engineer recommend that you invest in a MagnaClean, he will assess whether your system also requires PowerFlush.

 

The MagnaClean is designed to provide continuous protection and last for the lifetime of your boiler; however it does need to be maintained. Your Alliance Gas engineer will clean the MagnaClean filter during your Annual Service.

Hard water can lead to limescale build-up causing a loss in efficiency and higher running costs.

 

Your central heating system, household equipment and appliances can be prone to limescale build-up, especially if you live in a hard water area. You may be aware that you have hard water due to limescale formation on your shower head or your kettle. Left unchecked, this can lead to a loss of efficiency from your heating system and higher running costs. Hydroflow uses electric fields to help prevent this build-up, keeping your central heating system, household equipment and appliances working smoothly and effectively

 

By installing Hydroflow you can prevent limescale building up, not only in your central heating system but also in other appliances such as your washing machine and dishwasher, which can cause damage and reduce efficiency.

 

A one off installation means you will be able to cut heating costs and improve the longevity of your system.

 

The Hydroflow induces electric fields throughout your entire heating system, which will help break down limescale deposits into smaller crystals. These particles can then be washed away with the flow.
Installing the Hydroflow will take up to 1 hour and will be fitted to the cold water pipe. Your Alliance engineer will discuss with you the most appropriate location for this.
