Alliance Plumbing and Heating rates are made as clear and as straight forward as possible. We ensure all customers are made aware of our rates at the time of booking their job with our 24-hour call centre.
Hourly Rates
There is a minimum charge of one hour on all jobs, thereafter work is charged in 15 minute increments. All rates exclude the cost of materials and are subject to VAT.
Fixed Price
Written and verbal quotations are available from our engineers or we are happy to make an appointment for an estimator to assess your job. All quotations are subject to VAT.
General Plumbing
£70 + VAT for the first hour, £17.50 + VAT per 15 minutes thereafter (Monday - Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm)
Gas Safe/CORGI (General gas including boiler repairs)
£80 + VAT for the first hour, £20 + VAT per 15 minutes thereafter (Monday - Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm)
Boiler Services: £80 + VAT
Landlord Safety Certificates : £80 + VAT (includes 2 appliances)
Drainage : £90 + VAT per hour
Out Of Hours Plumbing and Gaswork (Evenings and Weekends)
Monday - Saturday, 6pm to Midnight: £120 + VAT for the first hour (or part of), £30 + VAT per 15 minutes thereafter (or part of)
Monday - Saturday, Midnight to 8am and Sundays : £140 + VAT per hour or part thereof
: As a security measure, we do request credit or debit card details to secure appointments.
Payment is due in full at the end of the job. We accept all major forms of payment including debit card, cheque and credit card. Please note that a 3.5% surcharge will be applied to all credit card transactions.
Invoice : An invoice will always be produced clearly showing a full description of work carried out - time started/time finished, a breakdown of the cost of labour, the materials used and the amount of the time spent on-site.
Materials : Materials supplied by Alliance Plumbers and Gas Engineers will be charged at cost plus 20%. Collection time will be kept to a minimum - any charge will be agreed with the customer in advance and not exceed 45 minutes.
Estimates : Estimates are generally non chargeable. Some estimates may incur a charge depending on the nature of the work, the area and the time of the appointment. Any charge made will be deducted from the final invoice.
Please Note that parking and materials are in addition to labour prices shown above and that any time spent by the plumber picking up materials for your job will be chargeable to you.
